This book is pure innocence. I unfortunately saw the movie first and I think it may have been better to read the book first, but it was still an excellent read. I must admit that although I am usually one of those consumers who is quite fine with books turned movie (I am one of the few people who seems to understand that what makes a book and what makes a movie work might not always be the same thing) in this case I have to admit that I preferred the ending in the movie. The drama at the end was breathtaking and I actually found myself cheering. It was just so poetically fitting, so emotionally charged, so perfectly…. I won’t spoil it. Go and watch the movie. The story is just brilliant!
